Australian Labradoodles

The Australian Labradoodle breed dates back to the 1980’s and was initiated by Wally Conran of Royal Guide Dogs located in Victoria Australia. The intent was to create a breed that was allergy and asthma friendly with the temperament of a service dog. The journey was inspired by a vision impaired woman in Hawaii who needed a Guide Dog which wouldn’t aggravate her husband’s allergies. Of the 31 Labradoodles bred at Royal Guide Dogs, 29 made it through as Guide Dogs…an accolade of unparalleled proportion for this “new breed” of Guide Dog.

It takes more than a lab and a poodle to create an Australian Labradoodle with the temperament, health, beauty, and fantastic disposition that you want in a family dog. For years, Cyndi had refused to breed labradoodles because the Lab is a working dog. The distinction is the Australian labradoodle has a service dog temperament which is fantastic for families.

Lily and Chewy have two black tuxedo puppies (born on 8/31) still available!

Lily is a parti-colored 30 pound Australian Labradoodle from Cascade and Jack. She is a very calm, sensitive girl who is totally devoted to her owner.

Chewy is our 30 pound service dog with a very nice, calm disposition.  He is very smart and his offspring learn very quickly.

The two have two gorgeous tuxedo boys available.

Skye and Chevy had Australian Labradoodle puppies on 11/17/25!

Skye is a beautiful cream-colored Australian Labradoodle from Callie and Jack.  She is 25 pounds.  She is a joy to her guardian family.  She is as active as they want her to be then settles down as needed to.  She loves other dogs and people.  Skye often tells her family when it is time to go to bed and is a very good snuggler once they comply!

Chevy is a gorgeous 25 pound parti Australian Labradoodle with a mischievous glimmer in his eyes.  What a fun personality this guy has!
